Send a Christmas Gift

A special gift from a sponsor is great way to brighten your child’s day. Your gift will remind your child how much you care and love them.

Because most families of sponsored children are extremely poor, your sponsored child will use any of these gifts carefully considered to be special from you; your gift will help meet the basic needs of a child together with the family. 

These items are ordered by a sponsor and are purchased by our Ugandan Team to help meet the needs of children in our program. Gifts will be given to your sponsored child before 25th December to enable them use the gifts on Christmas.

For Sponsor’s ordering a Christmas card, we request, you send a special message attached with a photo of you or your family if you wish, for your child at sponsor@azaniachildren.org. Our team will prepare your card for your child and will give you feedback about your Card. 

We encourage you to select gifts depending on the need of a child. Please know that an online item also bolsters the Ugandan economy since all gifts are purchased locally.

PERSONAL CHILD’S GIFT

These gifts help specifically your child for a better living

Mattress and Beddings ($75.00)

Most children especially those living in Villages sleep on grass mats, uncemented hard floor every night. This bed will include a think foam mattress with a warm Blanket and sheets which will enable your child sleep comfortable.

English Bible ($15.00)

Most of the children in the project have no bibles of their own. We encourage sponsors to give a bible gift to help a child grow in the knowledge of the Lord.

Back Pack ($20.00)

Most children during school times carry their school books. A backpack will ease the load tremendously.

School Uniform ($35.00)
After a period of 2 years, the Uniform of a child is not capable to ware, at this period, a child is in position to have a new uniform.
Shoes ($35.00)
These shoes will be suitable for child’s activities at school and church. Our team ensures the appropriate sizing for your child with the right color.
CHILD AND FAMILY GIFTS

These gifts help both your child and the family of your child for a better living.

Monthly Food ($100)

Provide food and sustenance for your child’s family. (Maize Floor, Sugar, Rice, Beans, Peanuts, Salt, bar soap.)

Seeds for food growth ($20.00)

Sponsored children living in villages carry out agriculture for food growth; we always support the child with the family to grow enough food for survival and income. Your seeds gift will help both a child and a family to grow as much food and possible.

Solar Lamps ($100.00)

Most of the sponsored children living in villages stay in homes without electricity, a solar lamp will help a child with light during night hours to enable them do their homework.

Goat ($70.00)
Goats enable children’s family with a saving skill. They are raised for income generosity where they multiply over time. They both provide nourishment and are sold to help provide urgent family needs.

How do i know the needs of my child?

As you write and exchange letters with your child. Your child will always inform you about their situations at home as a family. If you need help you, you can always write to our stuff to find out the needs of your sponsored child through our staff, please emailsponsor@azaniachildren.org

Can i send a gift for my child?

Yes, we encourage sponsors to send monetary gifts through our ministry address direct to Uganda, but also encourage sponsors to send gifts inform of money which is the easiest way to get the best package in Uganda according to the need of your child. Please email: sponsor@azaniachildren.org for more information about gifts.

How long does it take for my sponsored child to receive a gift that i have ordered?

It takes a month for your child to receive their online gift; gift distribution happens within 2-3 weeks of the placed order. However, for children attending boarding school it may take 2-3 months for the child to receive their gift.

How will i know that my child has recieved the gift?
Our team will send you an email to thank you and let you know that your child has received a gift from you. As a child receives the gift, a thank you letter from your child will be sent to you.
